Before you can have fun at the State Fair, you’ve got to get here first. Click through the options in the section below to see a map with suggested routes to and from State Fair Park during construction on I-94 East-West.

Just a reminder that for everyone’s safety, local authorities only allow right-hand turns into State Fair Park along all bordering streets (S. 84th Street, W. Greenfield Avenue, W. Kearney Street, S. 76th Street).

To the fair Coming From the South

Suggested Route

I-41/894 northbound to I-94 eastbound to the 84^th Street exit. Straight across 84^th Street to W Kearney Street to enter the clockwise rotation. Continue in the rotation to the next available gate.

Alternate Route 1

I-41/894 northbound to the National Avenue exit. Right on National Avenue to 84^th Street. Left on 84^th Street to enter the clockwise rotation. Continue in the rotation to the next available gate.

Alternate Route 2

I-41/894 northbound to I-94 eastbound to the 70^th Street exit. Right on 70^th Street to Main Street. Right on Main Street to 76^th Street. Left on 76^th Street to enter the clockwise rotation. Continue in the rotation to the next available gate.

To the fair Coming From the North

Suggested Route

I-41 southbound to I-94 eastbound to the 84^th Street exit. Straight across 84^th Street to W Kearney Street to enter the clockwise rotation. Continue in the rotation to the next available gate.

Alternate Route 1

I-41 southbound to the Blue Mound Road exit ramp. Left on Blue Mound Road to 76^th Street. Right on 76^th Street. Continue on 76^th Street over I-94 to enter the clockwise rotation. Continue in the rotation to the next available gate.

Alternate Route 2

I-41 southbound to I-94 eastbound to the 70^th Street exit. Right on 70^th Street to Main Street. Right on Main Street to 76^th Street. Left on 76^th Street to enter the clockwise rotation. Continue in the rotation to the next available gate.

To the fair Coming From the East

Suggested Route

I-94 westbound to the 84^th Street exit. Right on 84^th Street to Blue Mound Road. Right on Blue Mound Road to 76^th Street. Right on 76^th Street to enter the clockwise rotation. Continue in the rotation to the next available gate.

Alternate Route 1

I-94 westbound to WIS 175 southbound. Right on National Avenue to Greenfield Avenue. Right on Greenfield Avenue to enter the clockwise rotation. Continue in the rotation to the next available gate. This route is only recommended on non-Brewers game days.

Alternate Route 2

I-43/94 southbound to I-41/43/894 westbound (not shown on map) to I-41/894 northbound to the National Avenue exit. Right on National Avenue to 84^th Street. Left on 84^th Street to the clockwise rotation. Continue in the rotation to the next available gate. Consider this route to bypass I-94 work zones.

I-94 eastbound to the 84^th Street exit. Straight across 84^th Street to W Kearney Street to enter the clockwise rotation. Continue in the rotation to the next available gate.

Alternate Route 1

I-94 eastbound to WIS 100 (Mayfair Road) exit. Left on WIS 100 (Mayfair Road) to Blue Mound Road. Right on Blue Mound Road to 76^th Street. Right on 76^th Street. Continue on 76^th Street over I-94 to enter the clockwise rotation. Continue in the rotation to the next available gate.

Alternate Route 2

I-94 eastbound to the 70^th Street exit. Right on 70^th Street to Main Street. Right on Main Street to 76^th Street. Left on 76^th Street to enter the clockwise rotation. Continue in the rotation to the next available gate.
